Fun with a Purpose

The purpose for the events and activities within Cub scouts are aimed at helping a Scout obey the scout law as written by Lord Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell  in 1910, "A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent."  To help the Scouts to grow with these values we make the events fun. 

During each Pack meeting there will be an activity for the boys such as learning first aid or playing a game of four square.  During the year there will be overnights and weekend events and the special Blue and Gold ceremony.  The above tags for Pack Events, Civic Activities and Fund Raising will take you to web pages with more information.

There are also events, games and activities at each of the Den meetings. To really make all of this work we need parent volunteers.
