Scout Sabbath
2/5/12 and 2/11/12
Scout Sabbath is celebrated at thousands of Churches and Synagogues every year. The day is meant to mark the founding of Scouts in the United States and observation varies.  For Southborough Pack 1 Scouts are asked to wear their uniforms to their religious services and help with the service. The Religious Leaders are asked to recognize the Scouts and Scouting at some point during their service.

Also this year Rev. James Flynn, Executive Officer of Pack 26 and Pastor of St. Matthew Church, has offered to host an Ecumenical Service for all of the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of Southborough and their families. The Event will take place at St Matthew's Church on Sunday, Feb. 5th at 12:30pm and will be followed by a light reception

Providence Bruins
Sunday 2/12/12 Providence Bruins Game against the Albany Devils.  The game starts at 4:05 PM  and all three Southborough Packs will be there.  At just $15/ticket the entire family is welcome.  The Scouts will receive a Providence Bruins hat and a customized badge.  Dan will provide more details at the 1/9 pack meeting and pass around a signup sheet.  Last year we had over 150 Southborough participants!  Since this is a day event only, many new Tigers enjoy this afternoon opportunity.

Blue and Gold
The Blue and Gold is a 78+ year old tradition bringing Scouts and their familys together.  Pack 1 combines the Blue and Gold dinner with the March pack meeting using it as time to send our WeBeLos off to Boy Scouts, award the Pinewood derby winners and to give thanks you's to some of the volunteers making Cub Scouts possible.

Museum of Science

Ever wonder what happens to the Museum at night? The Scouts and their chaperones get to find out. Plus, where else do you have a chance to sleep under a dinosaur or a giant grasshopper? A snack an Breakfast are included but not dinner. You should plan on eating dinner before the 6:45 kick off.
