The Scouting for Food drive collected over 8,000 pounds of food! Great Job.

The Wreath Sales fund raiser sold 806 wreaths alone. That's not counting the candles and donations. Another great job.

Museum of Science Sleepover January 16th. There will be a special presentation, Lightning Show, Omni Show and Planetarium show as well as some time for the exhibits. Make sure to bring a mattress as the floors are known to be hard. http://www.mos.org/events_activites/overnight_program has more details.

Pinewood Derby

·      January 9, Optional Car building Session at Wooden Toys and Crafts. This is a way to help your cub build his car especially for those without a wood shop. Wooden Toys and Crafts will cut your cub's design using the band saw for $3 and then let him finish it and paint for another $3.

·      January 16, Recommended practice run at the Pilgrim church. Includes car weights and measures as well as seeing how fast your cub's car can go. (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM)

·      January 22, Mandatory registration at the Pilgrim church including the final compliance check. Cars will be kept under lock and key overnight. (6:30 to 9:00 PM)

·      January 23, Race Day (8:00 to 4:00 PM)

 

Blue and Gold Dinner Banquet February 1st 6:00-8:30 PM at the Double Tree Hotel, Rt. 9 in Westborough. A celebration event for the entire pack and our Webelos bridging over to Boy Scouts.
