Join
us for a weekend at Camp Resolute, one of the two premier BSA camps in
the area. This overnight is run by the packs so most of the facilities
will not be open but the boys can fish, hike and practice scout skills.
We will organize achievements and electives such as hiking, fishing,
outdoorsman, fire safety, whittling and astronomy.
Camp Resolute is a
fully outfitted Nationally Accredited Boy Scout camp at 75 Hudson Road
in Bolton MA. In addition to the 250 plus acres surrounding "Little
Pond", Scouts will find facilities which include; 11 Troop Campsites,
two youth shower-houses, an adult/handicapped accessible shower-house,
Handicraft Area, an Ecology/Conservation area, a (closed) waterfront
with rowboats, sailboats as well as canoes, a Rifle and Archery range.
We’ll be staying in the rifle range so there will be a building for
meals and cots for the Tigers. Families can use their own tents or use
the canvas tents there. Dinner and Breakfast are included. The nights
can be cool and it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve been rained on.
Pack warm cloths, bug spray and something to keep you dry.
Here is a link to some great Camp Resolute Notes from John Hurley of Pack 26 about the 2011 event.
